Coolant Recycling, Coolant Filtration
Hyde Guardian Coolant Recycling SystemsThe "Guardian" System recycles used coolants at process rates of 90 to 1500 gallons per hour. The operating principals are filtration to remove solid contaminants and coalescing to remove free floating and mechanically dispersed oils to less than 0.1%. The Hyde "Guardian" operates on a continuous overflow process to prevent rancidity and effectively recycle metalworking coolants. Systems can be customized to fit a customer's particular requirements by adding options such as a Coolant Return System, Polishing Filter, High or Low Speed Centrifuge, MagBag and Coolant Manager.
Benefits
- Reduce new fluid purchases by 45% to 75%
- Reduces hazardous waste disposal cost by 50% to 90%
- System payback typically 6-9 months
- Easy operation-designed to minimize operator involvement and training
- Cleaner shop environment
Tramp Oil Separators
Hyde Tramp Oil SeparatorsThe Hyde Tramp Oil Separator provides the economic solution for removing free floating and mechanically dispersed tramp oils from individual machine sumps, central systems, and wash tanks. Based on gravity flow and coalescence, the system can reduce tramp oils to less than 1% in a single pass. The Hyde Tramp Oil Separator extends the productive life of soluble oil, semi-synthetic and synthetic coolants, as well as washwaters. It may also be used for treating wastewater.
Applications
- Machining & Grinding
- Rolling & Drawing Fluids
- Washwaters
- Stamping operations
- Die-casting operations
- Pressure washing
- Equipment cleaning fluids
Benefits
- Reduces new fluid purchase costs by 45% to 75%
- Reduce cost of washwater detergents, heating and disposal
- System payback in 3 to 6 months
- Reduce hazardous waste volumes by 50% to 90%
- Reduce tramp oil to less then 1% in a single pass
- Separated tramp oils can be sold or recycled
- Minimal maintenance
Paper Bed Filters
Monlan filters employ disposable paper or permanent filter media to produce a positive barrier and remove
solids from all free flowing industrial process liquids. The filtering surface is automatically indexed
only when necessary, and different grades of filter media allow for an adjustment of clarity. Standard
units are available with flow rates up to 100 GPM.
Monlan filters are suitable for applications of low to medium stock removal of ferrous and nonferrous metals, and
organic and inorganic contaminants such as glass, rubber and plastic. Extended ramp filters and customized systems
are available to fit your specific application needs.Drum-type Filters
Monlan drum-type filters employ a disposable paper filter media to produce a positive barrier and remove solids from all free flowing industrial process liquids. The filtering surface is automatically indexed only when necessary, and different grades of filter media allow for an adjustment of clarity. Monlan drum-type filters occupy 1/3 the floor space of a traditional paper bed filter, with flow rates up to 525 GPM.
